Bill Wright and his associates help clients in the
months or years leading up to a sale or acquisition
serving as the "transactional" CFO and performing other
M&A-related project management services.
Previously, Bill was the founder and the managing
director of Corporate Diligence Specialists, a firm
currently based in San Francisco that conducts merger
and acquisition due diligence services on behalf of
middle market private equity firms.
Bill was a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers and a
vice president at Recovery Equity Investors, a buyout
fund focused on turnaround acquisitions. In all, Bill has
worked on over 200 transactions in various merger and
acquisition-related capacities in the United States and
abroad for both private equity and corporate clients.
For twelve years prior to his merger and acquisition
work, Bill held a number of team leader roles at Daiwa
Bank, Equitec Leasing Company, and Bank of America.
In the fall of 2006 Bill was elected to the board of
directors of the town of Kensington, California. Bill is
also on the Executive Committee of the board of
directors of the Association for Corporate Growth (San
Francisco Chapter).
Previously Bill served in Berkeley, California as a
Commissioner on the Loan Administration Board and
the Citizen’s Budget Review Committee. He has taught
finance and accounting courses at Golden Gate
University in San Francisco.
Bill earned an MBA in International Management from
Thunderbird Graduate School in 1983 and a B.S. from
San Jose State University in 1982.
